A lot happened this week.
Students sorting food into food groups and then graphing their results.
We made a salad using lettuce and some vegetables from our own school gardens.
Students learning the song Frère Jacques, but to a rock n' roll theme. They were dancing away, most of them any way.
The grade 6 and our class were able to harvest the lettuce from our garden, then cut up vegetables that were contributed by our family members. It was a beautiful sunny day!
There are so many children in between our class and the grade 6's, that there were able to have a play in between taking turns making the salad.
Time to eat!
Delicious and healthy!
Our class showing the High School Students our school gardens. Our kids
Our students LOVE the high school students. The feeling is mutual from the High SChool Students. This may be the last day they see them this year.
We are hoping that next Thursday, they will be able to pop by. They have exams starting so they are on a tight schedule.
Can you feel the love?!
Mme Paxton leading the indoor portion of the Sports Day activities. It was raining so to continue the fun, we all went into the gym for some races.
