Back to school after 2 weeks off has done most students some good. We were right back into the swing of things.
There are not many pictures this week. I will make sure there are lots next week with our learning about India.
This week we focused on what spring looks like, feels like, sounds like, tastes like and smells like.
We made eatable nests with eggs to welcome spring.
We played lots of games for addition. The children loved the race game. We also played games making number from 1-100, memory, connect the dots and started subtraction.
We have been practicing counting from 50-100.
We brainstormed words to help describe what things we like about people. We looked at Mme Paxton and Mickey Mouse. We came up with french words such as; gentille, gentil, sympatique, joyeuse, joyeux, heureuse, heureux, contente, content, travailleuse, etc...
We have been talking about what foods are healthy and why we do physical activity.
We made an umbrella art card..(pictures to be uploaded Monday)
Our classroom morning routine has changed slightly. Les vedettes de la semaine run the show.
Just hanging outside for our gym class. Enjoying the beautiful, sunny day!
Our students are becoming excellent readers. They are reading to each other almost every day.
